Saturday's Business Meeting Outfit

Hey everyone! I realize I'm a day late posting this, and I do apologize.
I had intended on writing this up and posting it while we were traveling yesterday, but there were not one, but TWO major accidents in the mountains yesterday, and we were stuck in traffic for almost 2 hours while they cleared the road and redirected everyone down a detour.
The catch there is, we were stuck in a place that had tall mountains on either side, and no cell service. Well, every now and then I'd get one bar, and then it would go away. Anyway, I didn't want to risk trying to upload photos and type everything out, and then possibly lose it all! And after sitting for that long (literally sitting there with the car turned off, just parked on the highway) my man was so sleepy that I had to talk and try to help him stay awake. Definitely not a good time to be quiet and work on my phone. Lol.
So yeah, thanks for being patient and understanding that life happens sometimes!

Anyway, on Saturday I picked out an outfit for a private business meeting that I was having at the family's farm, and I really liked it! I was like, "Hey Babe, can you take my picture?" when my meeting was over, so evidently I felt good about myself. And to be honest, those are the best outfits. The kind of things we SHOULD wear. You should wear clothes that make YOU feel good. Don't wear something to impress someone else. ♡

So here it is. Not claiming to be a fashion guru or anything, but here is what I wore that made ME feel beautiful.

I paired some white high-waisted (because I'm a mom, hello, and because lucky me they're in style right now) skinny jeans with my black riding boots that I got last fall, a button-up collared polka dot blouse, and this lovely bell-sleeved blazer.

Trust me when I say the blazer made the outfit, and chances are you either have everything else in your wardrobe or can easily find those items, so what I'm most excited to share with you is this one item that just made this look so unique. Here's a side view:

Take a look at those sleeves! *heart eyes*
I love them!

This blazer is by Who What Wear for Target, and I've linked it here where it's currently selling for $39.99, but check your local Target first, because I found it on the clearance rack for $15! Even at the price tag it has though, this item could definitely earn it's cost, especially if you wear this type of outfit often.
Hello Office Bombshell.
(Is there even such a word? Well, there is now.)
No more drab work outfits. Just add this for instant vaVOOM! ♡

And... a candid shot, just because.

Hope you each have an awesome week!

XXOO,
The Brunette
