Apple Picking at Weaver's Orchard

Hello my beautiful people!
I hope y'all are having a darling weekend, because we certainly are!

We've had some spotty fall weather on and off this month (happy dance!) and although yesterday literally had us sweating, we still enjoyed a fall-themed activity: APPLE PICKING!

We went to Weaver's Orchard in Morgantown, PA. They have lots of fun activities for the kids to participate in, and a market that sells food and beverages too, but we went too late in the day to explore anything other than the actual orchard. Mark works on Saturdays, so we usually don't have but a few hours in the afternoon for Saturday activities.

Chari started picking apples right away.
I think she's seen this before on a Curious George episode. Lol.
Missy needed some assistance from Daddy.
Take a look at that face! So priceless!
And, of course, Chari had to pick some up high if Missy got to. Typical sisters. Haha.
Success! :)

Nevertheless, we had a great time picking apples. The staff were friendly, the orchard is well-maintained and well laid-out, and the apples were honestly the best I've ever tasted.
(Edit from several weeks later: They also didn't go bad before we could eat them all! I usually have an issue with store-bought apples turning brown in the centers or otherwise going too soft if we buy too many to eat fairly quickly, but these apples lasted beautifully and tasted amazing every single time. We picked the Autumn Crisp variety, and I highly recommend you try them if you haven't ever before.)

Now onto some more cute snapshots...

I think this would classify as a "shady character".
I would say those smiles mean that they were having fun. My girls are easy to read like that. ;)
I certainly was! I have to admit, my favorite thing on this earth is spending time together as a family. ♡

All loaded up and ready to go. Missy's like, "Look Mom, apples!"
Apples are for eating, right?
Happy, happy girl.
Make that two happy girls.
