Our Trip to Grim's Orchard & Family Farms

And our fall fun continues with a trip to Grim's Orchard & Family Farms! ❤

This year was my first time checking this place out, and I have to admit, their list of activities is impressive.
Their fall activities are over now for this year (last weekend was the last one) but their orchard & pumpkin patch are still open.
We went during the week, so we didn't get to do any of the paid activities anyway, but my kids didn't care. They still got to pick pumpkins, pet the animals at the petting zoo, eat fresh cider doughnuts, and buy some fresh fudge from the gift shop!
And all of those things are still open until around November 11th (that's an estimate for when the crops will be done), so take advantage of this cool place while you can!
Ok enough rambling, here's the snapshots of our family fun. 💕

By this time, Chari knows the drill, and she started picking out pumpkins right away.

I'm not sure what her criteria were for her choices, but she was very decisive. Selective, but not hesitant. It was kinda neat to watch her.

This photo is a little blurry because Missy just couldn't wait to get out of the wagon when she spotted the goats!

Jimmy just sat and chilled while he bumped along on the gravel.

Once we got up close to them tho, she wasn't so sure... 🤔😄

Once Daddy was there to help, it was all good.

After she got started with the goats, she had to be convinced to leave. Here Daddy is promising there's more fun stuff ahead.

The next thing we ran into was this cute photo prop.

I barely got this shot of Missy. She doesn't understand the concept of posing, or waiting for someone to take a picture. 😂

Pretty girl. ❤

Uncle Josh and his girlfriend Emily went with us. Here Josh is playing with Jimmy with his hat. He'll make a great dad someday. 💓

Farther along, we found a mama pig and her tiny piglets. Have to admit, they're kinda cute.

Even I petted the little cuties. 😉

Annnnddddd, of course, hot cider doughnuts. 😍

Last of all, I hunted through their smaller gourds & pumpkins while the kids looked around the gift barn, and this was the cutest, tiniest pumpkin I could find. 💕

We got some reallllly good homemade fudge, and an apple cider slushie, too.
Both were 👌.
If you're within driving distance, I would definitely recommend you give them a visit. They are open 7 days a week until they close this year.

Have an awesome day.
